Welcome!

The Fore Women Only (FWO) Golf League is for women golfers of all levels of experience who are interested in a weekly 9-hole round of golf and games (optional), monthly golf outings, monthly guest days and tournaments. We are celebrating our 25th season! The 2024 FWO season begins with a Kickoff Scramble Tournament at Westfields Golf Club on Wednesday, April 10th at 5 pm. Weekly play begins April 17th and continues every Wednesday, with a few exceptions, through early September. Westfields may add blackout dates at any time during the season. So, be sure to check the schedule. The Board will also notify members by email of any additional blackout dates during the season.

Golf Course:  Westfields Golf Club, 13940 Balmoral Greens Avenue, Clifton, VA. Pro Shop: 703-631-3300.

Weekly Play:  FWO plays each week according to USGA, local & league rules. Members may choose to compete in featured Game of Week for a cash prize or just play for fun. All players who are recording a score are eligible to win the Putt Pot, weekly Low Gross & Low Net scores, as well as other season long achievements. 

Membership Dues:  The $55 membership dues for the year includes a league 9-hole handicap, blocked tee times, discounted golf, planned monthly golf outings, and other events planned by a dedicated Board of Directors. 

Membership Application: Please complete the 2024 FWO Membership Application online and pay our treasurer Punky Orlando either by mobile payment or check.  We have a limited number of membership spots available. Returning members have until February 21st to renew their membership before new member applications are accepted.

Greens/Cart Fee:  $40.00* with or without a cart, including unlimited range balls. $35 if you purchase a book of 10.

Tee Times:  The course blocks out tee times between 4:00pm – 5:30pm (will increase upon demand) each week on Wednesdays (except for blackouts). Shotgun starts are at 5 pm.

The Board meets the 1st Wednesday of every month after shotgun play. All members are welcome and encouraged to participate.
